
Oliver Mallison
Oliver Mallison, born in Essen in 1971, studied drama at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch in Berlin. His first professional engagements took him to Maxim Gorki Theater and Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz in Berlin. In 1998 he received the O.E.-Hasse-Preis. From 1998 to 2000, he worked at Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. In 2000, he joined the ensemble of Schauspielhaus Zürich, where he worked with Stefan Bachmann, Frank Castorf, Christoph Marthaler, Christof Nel and Stefan Pucher, among others, until 2003. In 2000, he was named Newcomer of the Year by specialist journal Theater heute. In 2003, he joined the ensemble of the Münchner Kammerspiele, where he worked with Andreas Kriegenburg, Alvis Hermanis and Luk Perceval, among others, until 2015. Since the15/16 season, Oliver Mallison has been a member of the ensemble at Thalia Theater.
