The Hamburg-based group Meine Damen und Herren, together with the internationally acclaimed German-British performance theater collective Gob Squad, uses the powerful emotion of “anger” as its driving force. “Calm down! Count to ten!” Why aren’t we allowed to be angry, even though we have every reason to be? When is anger a force that drives us forward, and when would it be better to count to ten first?
