Victoria Trauttmansdorff

Victoria Trauttmansdorff, born in Vienna in 1960, studied drama at Salzburg's Mozarteum. She landed a role at Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, followed by engagements at Nationaltheater Mannheim, Schauspielhaus Stuttgart and finally at Thalia Theater. Here she worked with Dimiter Gotscheff, Robert Wilson, Michael Thalheimer, Luk Perceval and Kornél Mundruczó, among others. Since 2000, she has appeared on the Thalia stage more than 300 times with the Eric Gedeon show Thalia Vista Social Club. Victoria Trauttmansdorff also appears regularly in films on the big and small screen, including Hannah Arendt (directed by Margarethe von Trotta), Der goldene Handschuh (directed by Fatih Akin) and Systemsprenger (directed by Nora Fingscheidt). In November 2018, she became the first woman to receive the Bozenhard Ring, which, according to its namesake, is awarded to »the most worthy Thalia actor«. Victoria Trauttmansdorff has been a member of the ensemble at Thalia Theater since 1993.
