A memory keeps returning, like a compulsive repetition of a specific moment. In an attempt to understand this continuous movement, and using the German word *Karambolage* as a metaphor for multiple or interlocking collisions, the work undertakes an individual and collective reconstruction of this particular memory: a car accident and its surroundings. Through the medium of film editing, this specific event passes through various speeds and modes, thereby transforming its temporal, material, and visual sensations.
