Toini Ruhnke

Toini Ruhnke, born in Henstedt-Ulzburg in 1993, began working as an actress for TV productions even before studying drama at Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg, and has continued to work in this field. As a student, she held a scholarship from the Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes. From 2018, she has also worked as a voice artist for NDR, RD, SWR, Radio Bremen, arte and numerous other publishers in the genres of radio drama, audiobook, voice-over, feature and dubbing. In 2020, the podcast Leonora – mit 15 zum IS (Leonora – 15 and joining ISIS), in which Toini Ruhnke appeared, won the German Audiobook Award. She has been a member of ensemble at Thalia Theatre since18/19, where she has worked with directors such as Charlotte Sprenger, Jan Bosse, Stefan Pucher, Antú Romero Nunes, Amir Reza Koohestani and Toshiki Okada, among others.
