
Jirka Zett
Jirka Zett, born in Hamburg in 1982, studied drama at Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch in Berlin. He worked with Antú Romero Nunes at bat-Studio, played the role of Camille in Dantons Tod (directed by Christoph Mehler) at Deutsches Theater, and appeared in Jürgen Gosch's productions of As You Like It in Hanover and The Seagull in Berlin. He also appeared in the film Nachmittag, an adaptation of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull, and in the film Orly, both directed by Angela Schanelec.
In 2009, Jirka Zett joined the ensemble at Schauspielhaus Zürich. During the 15/16 season, he appeared as Pastor John Hale in The Crucible (directed by Jan Bosse), Meer (directed by Barbara Frey) and Bühne frei für Mick Levčik! by René Pollesch. In 16/17, he starred in Der thermale Widerstand (directed by Barbara Falter, invited to Mülheimer Theatertage), High (du weisst wovon) (directed by René Pollesch), Herr Puntila und sein Knecht Matti (directed by Sebastian Baumgarten) and Bertolt Brecht's Dreigroschenoper (directed by Tina Lanik) as Mackie Messer.
From 18/19 to 25/26, Jirka Zett was a member of the ensemble at Thalia Theater.
