Akos has built a spaceship and is packing her bags with her friend Essinam. They ask themselves: What should we take with us? The answer is clear to them: the inventions of Black scientists – from traffic lights to dough rollers to gas masks. And if they discover a new planet on their journey? Then it will definitely not be colonised! They want to do better than the colonisers and not impose their own cultural values, religions and laws on the new planet.
Mable Preach, who made a name for herself in Hamburg at Kampnagel and in the independent theatre scene, ventures into different genres and galaxies with her ensemble to highlight the achievements of Black people in our recent history. Now it's up to us: what do we do with all this Black knowledge? What futures can we imagine?
