I feel you

Well, how’s it going? What sounds simple is usually much more complex. Because feelings don’t just arise within us, but also in our shared experience: They spread, are contagious, and can fill entire spaces—until they determine how we see the world. Sometimes they matter more than facts: Something seems true because it feels that way. And when you look around the world today, you get the impression that emotions and moods have long since become factors in determining what’s considered valid. But when does a feeling become a stance, and when does unease turn into a protest?

Hamburg-based choreographer and director Antje Pfundtner has received numerous awards for her work, including the George Tabori Prize, the FAUST, and the German Dance Prize. She has always developed her projects for children, teenagers, and adults alike. In I Feel You, she and the ensemble explore—through language, movement, and plenty of humor—what lies behind our feelings and what actually drives them.
