In Eine Tür, die sich nach innen öffnet – begehbares Verfahren nach Motiven von Franz Kafka audience members take on Josef K.’s perspective, experience scenes firsthand, and encounter characters from Kafka’s unfinished novel Der Prozess. The stage installation focuses on interactions between the audience and performers, as well as those between people, space, music, text, and objects. This creates a walk-in world that continually reshapes itself through encounters and dialogues. The audience experiences itself as part of a relational structure that demands individual agency and responsibility and makes it possible to experience these in a collective way.
