Premiere 28.2.27, Thalia Gaußstraße – BOX
In their search for political agency and solace, the characters in Sarah Elisabeth Braun’s play discover the work of May Ayim. What does it mean when racialized voices are silenced or rendered invisible? Together with the actors, the audience sets out in search of traces of May—her life, her work, and her death. Perhaps she is not as absent as they believed. Perhaps there is still hope, in winter in Germany.
