Paul Schröder

Paul Schröder, born in Anklam in 1982, studied at Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch in Berlin from 2005 to 2009. As a student, he worked on several occasions with director Antú Romero Nunes at bat-Studio and Maxim Gorki Theater, and made guest appearances at Deutsches Theater Berlin (directed by Christoph Mehler) and Ruhrtriennale (directed by Andrea Breth). His first permanent engagement was at Deutsches Theater Berlin from 2009 to 2011, where he acted in productions by Michael Thalheimer and Stephan Kimmig, among others.

From 2011 to 2013, he was a member of the ensemble at Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, where he once again worked with Antú Romero Nunes on several occasions and was awarded the Theaterpreis der Freunde des Maxim Gorki Theaters in 2012. From 2013 to 2015, he was a member of the ensemble at Schauspiel Stuttgart, where he worked with Armin Petras, Tilmann Köhler and Martin Laberenz, among others.

Paul Schröder was a permanent member of the ensemble from 2015 to 2020 and has been associated with Thalia Theater as a guest ever since
