GALAXIE 500 was an iconic indie rock band existing from '87 to '91 that recorded and released three legendary albums: "Today", "On Fire" and "This is our music“. Their sound was often described as Dream Pop or Slowcore and had a massive influence and impact on many bands and artists.

Dean continued to make music with his next band "Luna" and three albums with his wife as Dean & Britta. He is now touring with a 3-piece band (Britta Phillips on bass, Roger Brogan on drums) to perform Galaxie 500’s classic album On Fire and more.
