The evening box offices at Alstertor and Gaußstraße
open an hour before performances begin.

Online Passbook- & Print@Home-Tickets are available up to an hour before the performance begins. Pay with a credit card, Sofort or PayPal


Tickets are available from the first working day of the preceding month. Tickets are available for the following month and the next ten days.
Example: October tickets start selling September 1st, unless it's a weekend day.

Advance booking from the first working day in July and December for selected upcoming performances on the main stage.


Thalia offers gift vouchers for tickets, subscriptions, Friends of Thalia memberships and the ThaliaCard at the day box office, at the customer service desk at Alstertor.

School children, students, national service / VolunteeRs and apprentices
up to the age of 30 can buy reduced tickets for €11 (premieres and special performances are €17).


Recipients of ALG-I and ALG-II
can buy tickets for €9.50 (premieres and special performances are €17).

Patrons with severe disabilities
and their carers receive a 50% discount.

Wheelchair users
and their guest pay reduced prices.

When booking a minimum of 10 tickets for a performance, groups will pay the price of the category directly underneath the category they are seated. Talk to us for advice and added extras:


School groups
pay €11 per child for the children’s productions we put on before Christmas, and €9.50 for the other performances in our repertoire. Family Card
for €15. Valid for one season at Thalia, the State Opera and the Schauspielhaus (excludes premieres & special performances). Children and young people up to the age of 18 pay €8. Up to two accompanying adults receive a discount of 10% on ticket prices.

Go to the theatre half price for a whole year – as often as you want to, where you want to. The ThaliaCard is valid for up to two people, it is not transferrable, costs €99 and is valid for 12 months. You can sign up at any time.
