In this multidimensional video installation, the spectator follows bottle collector Michael Räthke on his daily route from the Schanzenviertel to St. Pauli in Hamburg. The striking conversation with the 70yearold pensioner raises some questions: how does it feel to rummage around in the garbage for the first time for a few cents? Who decides what a person needs to live? How much poverty does a society want to afford?
