Evi Bauer

Born in Kempten in Allgäu in 1980, Evi Bauer graduated from her course in set design at the University of the Arts London before working as a design assistant at the Munich Kammerspiele, and as an artistic collaborator of Prof. Katrin Brack at The Academy of Fine Arts in Munich from 2007 to 2010.

She began long-term working relationships with directors Stefan Kaegi/Rimini Protokoll, Sebastian Nübling, Felix Rothenhäusler and Miloš Lolić.

 

Evi Bauer worked on other projects as a set designer, at theatres including the Bremen Theatre, the Deutsches Theater, Berlin, the Maxim Gorki Theatre, the Salzburg Festival, the Basel Theatre, the Hanover State Theatre, the Vienna Burgtheater and the Zurich Schauspielhaus.

 

At Thalia, she worked alongside director Sebastian Nübling to design the sets for ‘Wut/Rage’, ‘Death of a Salesman’ and ‘Maria’, followed by ‘The Night of those killed by Neil Young’ during the 2019/2020 season.
