Celia Hofmann

Born in 1991 in Fribourg, Switzerland. Parallel to her school years and studies, she receives classical piano and vocal training and participates in various choral and opera projects as a choral singer and soloist. In 2017, she completes her master's degree in architecture and urban planning at ETH Zurich. During her stage design assistance at the Staatstheater Augsburg in the 2018/19 season and the 2019/2020 season, she creates her first stage design in collaboration with director Aileen Schneider for Strindberg's "Ghost Sonata". Since the 20/21 season, she has been working at the Thalia Theater as an assistant stage designer. On the studio stage she designs the stage for the play "Ziegenkäse in Streichholzschachteln" with the artist collective All|Das as part of the Embassy of Hope. In 2021 she develops the spatial concept for the adaptation of the novel "Park" by Marius Goldhorn directed by Moritz Reichardt at the Thalia Theater.
