Abdoul Kader Traoré

Abdoul Kader Traoré, born in Burkina Faso in 1982, is a musician, rapper, producer and trained as a sound engineer in Berlin. He is also active as an actor. In 2010 Traoré took part as actor and musician in the production "Via Intolleranza II" by Christoph Schlingensief and toured Europe with it. Since 2011 Kader lives in Berlin. 2015 he worked with director Georg Schütky at the Staatsoper im Schillertheater Berlin ("Originale" by Stockhausen). At the Volksbühne Berlin he worked in the direction of Martin Wuttke ("Der eingebildete Kranke", 2012) and with Frank Castorf ("Faust" and "Les Miserables", 2017) and in "Der haarige Affe" (2018) at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. In 2017 he worked with director Thomas Goerge at the Opera Trier ("Der Ring-Babybabyballaballa", 2017) and in "Kunstwerk der Zukunft / You can change yourself into Gold" at the Opera Halle.

Am Thalia Theater ist Abdoul Kader Traoré in „PARADIES“ (Regie Christopher Rüping) zu sehen.
