Bridget Petzold

Born in Scottsdale (Arizona), Bridget Petzold has a Masters degree in German Literature from the University of San Francisco and has been working in theatre for more than 25 years. She has produced and choreographed international productions including, ‘West Side Story’, ‘Rocky Horror Show’, ‘A Chorus Line’, ‘Cabaret’ and ‘Snow White’. Furthermore, she has performed in countless musicals in Germany and the USA. Bridget Petzold also worked as a dance teacher and is a long-standing member of the artistic team at the Tanzhaus NRW in Düsseldorf. At the Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus, she has choreographed productions including ‘Around the World in 80 Days’ and ‘Queen’s Men’ (Directed by Peter Jordan and Leonhard Koppelman), ‘Lazarus’ (Directed by Matthias Hartmann), and the song recitals, ‘Boys don’t cry and girls just want to have fun’ and ‘I build my time’ (Artistic director: André Kaczmarczyk). ‘Shockheaded Peter’ at Thalia in Hamburg is her fourth collaboration with directors Jordan and Koppelmann.
